Born and raised in Perry, Larry is a graduate of The Westfield School and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He maintains a Georgia Insurance License for Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance.

After graduating from UGA, Larry worked as a staff accountant for The Coca-Cola Company. He then held a position in management and sales at Walker-Rhodes Tractor Company, before leaving to start Walker Insurance Agency, which he founded in 1996.

Larry has long been active in the Middle Georgia community, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Methodist Home for Children and Morris Bank and the Board of Governors for the Museum of Aviation Foundation. He is past Chairman of the Perry Downtown Development Authority and Middle Georgia Technical College, and past Vice Chairman of the Houston County Development Authority. Larry is past president of the Perry Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow and was named Perry Rotarian of the Year in 2004 and again in 2008. In 2004, Houston County Magazine named Larry a top 10 leader under 40, and the Macon Telegraph listed him as one of the 14 to watch in 2014. In 2015, Larry was elected to the Georgia State Senate representing Bleckley, Dodge, Dooly, Houston, Laurens, Pulaski, Treutlen, and Wilcox counties. He is Secretary of the Senate Majority Caucus and serves on numerous Senate committees including Chairman of Insurance and Labor.

Larry and his wife of 39 years, Adrienne, are active in the Perry United Methodist Church. They reside in Kathleen and have three sons and one grandson.

A native of Hawkinsville, Brince is a graduate of The Westfield School.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. Brince maintains a Georgia Insurance License for Property, Casualty, Life, and Health.

Brince is an active member of his community. He serves as a Commissioner on the City of Perry Planning and Zoning Commission as well as the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is also an active member of Perry United Methodist Church, serving as Chairman on the Church Finance Committee.

Brince joined Walker Insurance in 2014. After 5 successful years at Walker Insurance, Brince became Vice President and a Principal in the agency in 2019.

Brince resides in Perry with his wife, Laura Lyn and their two children, Harris and Cameron.
